In 2001 our radical adaptation of Ionesco’s classic absurdist comedy The Bald Prima Donna played Komedia at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to much critical and popular acclaim. Asylum were subsequently invited to perform and to present workshops the Theaterszene Europa Festival at the Studiobuhne, Cologne, and were the first ever Irish company to be invited to the San Francisco International Absurdist Festival.
